Hello! My name is Chad Brekke, and I am privileged to serve as the senior pastor here at Saint Matthew's. My wife, Lori, and I moved to Chester Springs in December of 1994 after serving a congregation in the Fishtown section of Philadelphia for more than four years. Since that time our family has grown by two with the birth of Lydia in 1998 and Clara in 2001. Both Lori and I were born and raised in Minnesota where our families still reside. I graduated from Gustavus College in Saint Peter, Minnesota and from Luther Seminary in Saint Paul, Minnesota. I guess it was inevitable that I would end up serving a church named for a Saint!

I am truly excited to be a pastor of this historic church. During the past few years, our congregation has welcomed a flood of new members.
